Have you already completed basic training and feel like you need a refresher? Or perhaps your team’s basic first aid understanding needs updating? Our First Aid at Work Update course can be tailored to your organisation’s needs, though the outline of the day includes:
Introducing the role of the first aider, how to manage and emergency in terms of communication and casualty care, identifying the source of a bleed and how to manage it, resuscitation including the use of an AED, seizures, shock, and what to do in the face of an unresponsive casualty.
This particular course is designed for adults only, dealing with injuries occurring in those over 18.
