Overview:
With the world currently dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and businesses coming in and out of lockdown, uncertainty, stress and anxiety are affecting everyone and in different ways.
Our Mental Health First Aid course is designed to equip you or a team member with the skills and knowledge required to be the first point of contact in an organisation to assist others with their mental health challenges. It will also allow them to spot the warning signs or red flags that a member of staff might be experiencing a mental health issue. Spotting such signs early can lead to swifter help and can be a life-saver.
Unlike a traditional first-aider in a company who would dress a wound or deal with a physically injured person, mental health first aiders require a completely different set of skills. Our Mental Health First Aid course will provide participants with the tool box to confidently take on this role and which will provide them with these skills for life.
