Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, though in most organisations you will be aware of a designated individual to whom all concerns of worries must be reported.
It is everyone’s job to keep an eye out for breach of safeguarding, particularly in the case of vulnerable adults. This course will educate you about the legislation around safeguarding, including the Human Rights Act, Equality Act 2010 and the Care Standards Act 2000. You will learn about the types of abuse and indicators that it may be going on. The course also covers how best to approach and report any type of abuse, in relation to MCA 2005 and DOLS.
We have 2 ways for you to book this course, either enquire with us for a specific date or in-house training where we will come to you to deliver the training, or Book onto one of our available dates being run at our training centre in Bridgend.
